Generally, scanning receivers and radios may be listed on eBay. However, members should note that whilst it is not illegal to sell, buy or own a scanning or other receiver in the UK, it must only be used to listen to transmissions meant for general reception.

The services which may be listened to include Amateur and Citizens' Band transmissions, licensed broadcast radio and weather and navigation broadcasts.

It is an offence to listen to any other radio services unless you are authorised to do so under your operator's licence or by a designated person.

Features include separate squelch & volume controls, earphone jack socket, 3-position waveband selector, retractable aerial, a large clear display and an LED power indicator. This radio can be powered by either a 6Vdc power supply or with 4 x AA batteries.

• In the unlikely event that there is a fault with your goods when you receive them, you are entitled to a refund provided you return them to us complete and in their original packaging within 7 days from the date of purchase.
